The issues of life are many to contend with but only if you know exactly what to contend with.This morning I read from the Bible during our family devotion in 1Corinthians 12:4-7 (from Open Heaven authored by Pastor E.A. Adeboye).
We therefore understood that each and every one of us has been given a gift from GOD. And we can not attain the level we ought to attain in life if we failed to discover our gift or gifts.
Gifts and talents come in various forms and shapes. And at times we pursue other people's gifts and live their dreams and even helped them to achieve them. At times we look at successful people in our communities and we want to follow their gifts. There is nothing wrong to follow someone successful and pray to be successful as the person. But what is wrong is trying to be successful by using the person own gift or gifts. A talent or gift is a process that get us to the product which is success.
You can be materially or entrepreneurially successful like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet without necessary being a software guru or shares savvy. You can be spiritually successful like Billy Graham and Pastor E.A Adeboye without necessary talking or preaching like them.
The question always is how can I know my gift or talent. I do not have the key myself to all of them. But you can be able to notice it in the followings ways also:

1. Check your performance in School especially Secondary or High School
2. Ask people or your peers for candid opinions
3. What you do best with easy
4. Listening to your inner voice
5. Have quiet time for yourself and think
6. Pray. and act
So what is your gift or talent. Be yourself and pursue your dreams.
